Originally planned for REI Headquarters, Facebook took over this complex consisting of two new buildings in Bellevue, WA at Spring District. The main building (432091 sf) is a five-story office building over one level of subgrade parking, including retail space, café with a commercial kitchen, (6) small pantry kitchens, workshop/project areas, a mock store, and open & private office areas, The secondary building (214550 sf) is a two-story office building & single-story marketplace over three levels of subgrade parking. Prime is the design build contractor and MEP consultant for the developer and owner for all stages of pre-construction and design assist (concept design stage for the shell & core and all stages up through completion of construction and permit documents for the tenant improvement), coordinating with the architects, engineers, owners representatives, consultants for other trades, participating in value engineering, and providing detailed estimates at each phase of design. Electrical design and installation includes utility medium voltage infrastructure, one-line distribution system, Generator and UPS system, branch circuitry, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm system, access control and CCTV security system, DAS system, and pathway/rough in to support installation of all other low voltage systems.
