This tenant improvement brought a fresh new look and high functionality to the Palo Alto Medical Foundation’s Sunnyvale Clinic. XL’s MEP Coordinators used laser scanning and BIM during preconstruction to detect clashes and to create efficiency for the construction phase and for future maintenance. The two-story, 16,394 sq. ft. building received a complete interior renovation, infill of the existing atrium to accommodate additional square footage, elevator upgrade, complete mechanical and electrical equipment upgrades, and an ADA compliant parking lot renovation. The new Medical Office Building is now equipped with dermatology, imaging/radiology, physical therapy, and office space.
