816 Mercer includes two new 13 story Core and Shell towers. The West tower is Class A Office, while the East Tower will be a 60/40 split of Lab and Office space. One of the more unique aspects of this project architecturally, is that the ground level will be built out as a community center. PRIME’s scope of work will include Electrical, fire alarm, teledata, security systems and site electrical. One of the main challenges during this project will be incorporating flexibility for Day 2 distribution changes. These changes will include a future second SCL vault, project sequence, challenging feeder and comm conduit routing through an architecturally complex building.
